![]() ![]() That said, Nighdive Studios took on that monumental task and, many years after the remake’s original announcement, have brought System Shock back in beautifully grotesque and streamlined style, even if the path forward can sometimes be dizzying to follow. It walked so a lot of games could run, so it was always going to be a tall order to remake such an incredible, yet unoptimized classic. It introduced a first-person semi-RPG adventure that would go on to inspire elements of BioShock, Half-Life, and so many other story-heavy shooters. I'm just glad to have an idea of what to do next, was thinking my game was bugged or something for a moment there haha.System Shock was a foundational game for a lot of reasons. I'm probably just missing it, I'll keep at it. All the doors I have yet to explore down in maintenance are all still locked, saying "no maintenance required" or some such, besides the one door that needs less security. I looked around in maintenance near elevators and stuff and could not find this flashing number, but that must be what I have to do next haha. So I guess I just need the keypad number. ![]() I do see the keypad towards the south part of the executive level and that's where I'm assuming Diego is. I have activated all the switches in the three accessible groves. That's the issue I'm having, I just can't find the boss fight. (The room has teleporter so you you need little backtracking.)Īnd after that you need to launch to beta grove into the system shock 2 storyline. Once fixed you need to go back and hit the master switch. You need to do the 3 groves and activate the switches there.Īfter that past the boss fight there is a room where you need to activate the master switch it fails and you need to go to lvl 3 to fix it.
